I've been phished

LOL well I am sure where they are from that looks correct.

 

I get phished every day for ebay, paypal, and banks I have never been in.
Today, I got an ebay phish saying I had won the auction for a brand new Ferrari for only $199!!!
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

I gave them the email for the FBI a few times. I am sure they loved it. Wonder how many were dumb enough to use it.

Yeah, just got an email from paypal saying that I had requested a password request.
Sent it to and got a reply back.
It was a REAL email from paypal!
Someone had used my email address and tried to use a password that did not work (heck, I have to look at my folder for my password cause it is so damn weird and unrememberable).
So paypal automatically sent an email to me.

Live and learn.
And know that paypal checks these things out and lets one know when someone tries to access their account.
If you have a paypal account, make damn sure your password and your security questions and answers can not be hacked.
Why I use that weird password (which I just changed to one even weirder!).

 

Thank god for this. I guess their phishing trip ended badly. Now if they can only get the rest of these morons we would be all set.

LOL I got this one 12 times last week from 6 different people. Made me jump right on it.

 

I've been getting more and more of these too.
Mostly from African countries.

Does this mean corruption is on the rise?
Why can't they just send me my money via paypal?

It's true that it does lure people in. Why else would
these emails continue if it wasn't working for some people.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is.
