Sorry to start up this thread again, how weather changing causes political hate is beyond me at times.

To answer your question though on why it leads to political hate? Because liberals are a mean nasty bunch of spoiled children that can get mad at anything any time, for any reason.

They think that Bush invented global warming, just like Al Gore invented the internet. Anything that goes wrong with the planet, must be our fault, because along with being a mean nasty bunch of spoiled children, liberals also have a guilt complex that makes herion addiction look like a safer alternative.

Anyway, I am gonna do my part today and kill some plants. The neighbors bush has been an eye sore for years. Its toast now. Save the Planet man, KILL A PLANT!!!

Cleaner air in the past decade is contributing to global warming. If pollution is the cause of global warming; how can the removal of it make it worse?

I think man-made global warming is bunk. I think its a natural phenomenon caused by outside forces that scientists simply do not understand. The earth is cooler now than it was 1000 years ago. Spots are warmer, spots are cooler.

Global warming and cooling has been going on for eons. There was a mini ice age in the 13th or 14th century as well. It goes up and it goes down. Life finds a way to adapt.

Global warming advocates have an easily defendable position.

If its hot. Global Warming. If its cold. Global Warming. Windy? Wet? Dry? Yep. Global Warming.

 

I think we covered this in another thread, there are pollutants that consist of actually particles of crap, and their are polutants that consist of gases.

Because the idea of global warming is very scary to some businesses, such as energy companies, and car manafacturers

Those business interests fund studies and lobby the polititicans in power (which right now, are republicans) to push the the idea that gloabl warming doesn't exist.

People like loren, and mia, being blind followers , immediately oppose anything that someone slaps a "liberal" label on. Which is somewhat funny because neither of you own energy companies (Maybe you own stock in energy companies, which would explain your position better), but since you both breath air, and have children, you essentially argueing a postion that goes against you are childrens future breathing interests.

Ferret, how do you explain the 20 year long ice age that happenned JUST 500 years ago? HUH? Were the vikings polluting with their hummers? Do some research, turn on the discovery channel instead of cartoon network.

 

Ferret needs to do his part in the fight against global warming and not use any fuel for just recreation - sell the boat, get a toyota car, since you don't need a v8 just to move 2 people.

I am all for cutting pollutants, but the global warming thing is like a dog chasing his tail while having bad gas. It goes no where and just smells aweful.

 

It was a laren's article, that said something to effect that reducing aresol emmissions would increase the amount of sunlight hitting the earths surface, and in turn increase warming

Very funny, you picked a city in a country that would not fall under any agreed international regulation, because it's considered a 'developing country'. Even after passages of any laws, they are immune.
