That's another ditto. About 97% of the CO2 in the atmosphere are from natural occurances.

Further, the strongest evidence of global warming is the global termperature record of the earth's surface, which shows rising temperatures. Any meteorologist will tell you that temperatures in the atmosphere should directly correspond to surface temperatures. Though temperatures records of the atmosphere from both weather balloons and satellite readings over the last twenty years show no warming of the atmosphere.

History has also shown us that government and business will generally do very little to help the environment unless the problems are immediately obvious. As such, global warming is often hyped up by environmentalists to push for environmental legislation.

All you people signing up for a march to complain to other people about pollution need to take a look at your own actions. It used to be one car per family, now there is three or four. People don't go for a ten minute walk down the street, we hop in the car. And very few carpool because having a car all to yourself grants you a degree of independence. And the cost of all this? Factories and power plants account for only about 30% of man made pollution. The other 70% is from the constant dailey activites of the billions of individual citizens.

Yet another ditto for "Get over the whole Global Warming thing!" Man has such little power to affect the global climate - Nature rules.

No, nature took care of that, as it has for about 6000 years, (or 4.5billion years), which ever you subscribe to.

The liberal media just complains about it and blames it on society.

Correct. The worlds oceans, and cow farts, two biggest contributors.

Thing is, we have only been recording weather for around 100 years... So, 100 into 6000 (or 4.5billion) again, depending on which camp you are in.

Seems to me we have no real data with which to accurately base any of our temperature findings on. We have no idea if this is normal or not. What we can be certain of is that there is nothing any of us can do to either cause gw, or end it.

Agreed, but then again, what are we really going to do? I seem to need electricity, gas, and other things. Most of us do. Can we do it cleaner? Perhaps, but then it will cost more and everyone in liberal land will bitch about farming the Global Warmers off to other countries, unions will go on strike to get more money even though the corps will not be able to afford to pay them to drink more coffee because they are too busy paying to keep the planet from going thermo nuclear.

Isn't there something else people can bitch about? What about teen pregnancy, murder, drug use? Real problems? Problems that WE, as a society can actually address. Nature is a tough one to take on. Let's start with something small.

Bingo.... Great points. No, those are excellant points. Right on! I read a study once that showed that more green house gasses are released into the environment each year from lawn mowers/tractors than from automobiles. Mainly because what gas powered lawn tool actually has emissions systems installed on it? None that I know of.

So all you left wing nut jobs, stop global warming, stop cutting your grass.... Wait, is grass a plant? If it is, just kill it. No more polution from lawn mowers and plants.

    Problem solved. Next issue please.

First there has to be scientific proof of global warming. Does weather change?

Second, it's cause: The Sun's increased Solar activity? The declining Earth magnetic field, leading to FURTHER decline in the Van Allen Belts? Or the < 1% of (man-made) CO2, verses the 99%+ natural sources of CO2?

I've been reading that our slow ice age we were in (for those who remember the scientists in the 70's) was only paused, and soon we will continue back into it.

    Go figure...

Well that is the real point. Were is the scientific proof that man has the ability to control the enviroment?

I think the thing that people on the far left do not seem to realize is that those of us in the middle/mainstream believe there is such a thing as Global Warming. However, we feel it is a natural occurence, as history has proven this fact time and time again. I wonder if it was Ray Romono that caused the ice age back in Wooly Mamouth times... Who caused it in mid-evil times...

Someone ought to find that biatch mutha nature and smack the hell out of her. ;)
