Joomla/JomSocial/plugin vs. Elgg plus plugins

    I want to create a social network and am trying to decide between:

    Joomla/JomSocial/plugins vs. Elgg plus plugins vs. DRUPAL

    I am want to charge subscriptions and have private sections to the site.

    Any ideas of any advantages/disadvantages of the above?
    I've added Drupal to the list as it's so much easier to style than Joomla.

    JomSocial is best social networking extension going. It looks great, it includes the all the main features that you would want for a Joomla! social networking site. It includes a wall, activities feed, profile gallery, user upload of photos and video, user comments, user groups and messaging. There is also support for Facebook Connect which allows users to log in through their Facebook account. There are also a wide variety of plug-ins available, plus an API for developers.

    Now I'm also looking at Drupal - as it's so much easier to style.
