I used to use Joomla and Drupal when I needed a CMS and WordPress when I needed a blog, but not anymore. WordPress is all I use for all of my CMS needs. It's easily customizable, has a ridiculous amount of community support, an extensive collection of highly useful plugins that benefit it as a CMS, and is easily scalable. The absolute only place that WordPress falls a little short is anything beyond basic eCommerce needs.

better off using wordpress, as the number of threats that comes with Joomla plugins and modules are way too high. and i think Joomla is way too heavy compared to Wordpress, weighing down much of your resources.

Definitely WORDPRESS! I have tried Joomla on many occassions and unless you are familiar with Windows Server its a bit perplexing.
