Ok, a crazy idea just popped into my head and I am now ready to start building a site a day until I have 100 sites. Not big sites, just 5 pages with some specific information. If I can get each one of them to make a buck a day with adsence... well, you see the picture.
Quite a crazy task for a guy that doesn't know anything about web design and sometimes forgets the difference between and
, but I guess this is the only way I will ever learn.

The problem is that I am suffering from information overload and can't think well any more :p

So, jump in and give me your ideas for my minisites. For example, yesterday I built one related to acne, and today I am finishing one related to poker chips

Any ideas are apreciated!! :D

I'll pull NaturalJerky.com out of expired status and push it to you at enom. I had a placeholder site there that was #5 at Yahoo for the phrase natural jerky. You send me $25 if it ever makes that :)

How about something on iPods? Maybe a comparison of Apple iPod vs. Apple Shuffle?

Do as you are doing but stick affilate products on them, build one of those a day and get income from selling the stuff you put on them.
Depending on the product you could place several on each site devoting a page to each product.
For example build a phone site.....a page for each model with an affilate link nokia, sony, erickson etc with some additional content.

I'm sure you would make more $ being an affilate and you could still stick adsense on them. Gives you a chance to get income both ways.

I would keep buying sites cheaply as you have been doing.....making sure they have a PR of 2 or better....that should keep you out of the sandtrap and it gives you a headstart in the coop.

The problem with affiliate sites is that they take much more time. You need to check out their product, find one that is related to your site, etc. Too much work. Instead of that I just write down some content, format it and add some adsense banners. Takes me a few hours to set up a new site.
I don't care about the sandbox, I have just forgotten about Google. Since I have been getting nice rankings at MSN and Yahoo I'm targeing those engines now.

I am out of budget right now, lol. I bought a couple of sites expecting to sell them later on at Ebay, but they didn't sell, so I have no $ left to buy new sites. I also quit my job and I'm living on my site's income. I can't say I am a wealthy man, but I am much happier dedicating my time to my sites instead of spending 8 hours in a crummy little office and earning peanuts.

Of the sites I am stuck with now one is a template site, and templates are almost as tough as hosting for ranking. Seems like everyone on the net is a templatemonster's affiliate! I do have an online games site, I might change that one into a specific videogame site to narrow it down to a niche.

mhdoc, thanks, but I don't see many adsense ads for jerkeys, and I don't think they pay well either ;)

Diamondbacks I'm looking for smaller niches. Words like "ipod" and "apple shuffle" show millions and millions of results, getting a top ranking would be more than difficult.

Any more ideas are apreciated!

I would probably go to one of the sites that post the highest paying keywords, and build around them. Probably go to one of the keyword tracking sites and make sure the keyword is used often.

Thanks for pointing that out frankm! I was just about to add my 2 cents!

Fryman-
Since the thread has already been bumped, I might as well ask...Have you made any progress on this in the past 12 months? :)

thanks for bumping up such an old thread...

Anyway... I have gone quite a long way since this started... didn't manage to build 100 sites. I later learned that with black hat seo you can do that in one day, but I decided to stay white and focus on just a few sites.

All I can say is that if you are patient enough and dedicate some time to read and learn and work on your sites you will eventually get there. I am earning way more than any of my friends, and they have to sit in an office 10 hours each day while I go hang out at the gym :D

black hat is easier but then your site gets banned and you lose all your traffic from Google. With White hat you can keep building and your traffic keeps growing.
