Hi all it appears that the new auction script i bought as been sold by a scammer selling someone's else's products i have done a complete test of this script and its full of bugs top to bottom i have emailed this person and it seems he as trouble replying.

I did a quick search on google about this script and it seems that every site i look at about the reviews etc are all bad which is my own fault for not looking my question is am i entitled to a refund or chargeback on my card as this person seems to think he can sell a product that does not work right.

Unless i spend 100 hours fixing the bad programming on it but if you buy a product it should work at least 98% its just like any product if it turns out to be faulty you would send it back to the shop etc would that work same as a script sorry if it sounds dumb.

Hate it when these noobs try and rip me off my faces goes red with anger

Hit them for a refund first and then a chargeback if they don't comply. Make certain you specify a time frame (i.e. within 7 days) and the reason why you want the refund in your emails to the 'merchant'.

If you get no joy that way, then you go for the chargeback, citing your emails and possibly some of the other angry customers you have found using Google after you purchased, explaining that the software does not do the job it was intended for.

    Intense price ...

we purchased a decent shopping cart system for almost half that, selling factor for us was that it had good support & updates.

Good luck - hope you get your money back

    That sucks.

Like mentioned above, your best bet would be to contact the merchant services and tell them why you deserve a refund. Who knows.
