Just bought a php script for youtube-like site, what next?

I'm completely new and experimenting, I pretty much know nothing. I think I need a PHP/mysql? website that I can set the script up on?

I have the pre-made scripts downloaded and ready, how do I put the scripts on the web page? Also, what is a good web page to buy that provides a good amount of gb server space so I can host videos?

Id ultimately like to get it setup and running smoothly with a good amount of views, and have some pay per click ads setup on it. Not sure how realistic or not that is.

Return it... At the moment youtube (although they are losing 1 million + a month) controls the market...

Find a niche, also post the program b/c we can't guess what the script needs to run.. Usually it will say in the help index/files what it needs (space, os, other software)...

Also get a good host b/c video hosting websites chew through the bandwidth.

 

Good luck. It is a very hard industry to break into. As google, yahoo and many other very large companies are also trying to do the same thing as youtube...Very hard for someone to break into the industry unless the site is very unique

 

mabey modify it to pay people per view of their files
