    I just made a new blog, and have a few posts on it.

    I don't really know where I should put the ads, so I'm fielding everyone's opinion on the placement.

    The placement is fine (as is the colors used) - it all looks very clean and professional. The only thing I'd suggest is that you ad an extra unit just below the header, but containing within the blog posts area. I've drawn up an image below to show the area I'm talking about...

    + get a domain name!!

    but do you think that anyone would click on ur ads knowing that ur blog's target is adsense publishers? :D

    If you want visitors to click on those links, I suggest you change them to blue. You only get a second or two to attract the casual visitor to take action - and when I first glanced at your page, I didn't register the ads as links to be clicked on. It's a trade-off - your page is aesthetically pleasing - but do visitors respond to those green links?

    And yes - get your own domain!
