Wow, I am watching the news right now on tv, and they just had a note about some site http://www.caledonianoffshore.com/careerstartshere.html

That site offers jobs on oil rigs. A few years ago A friend told me about it, and we were just about to send the money they ask for paperwork (over $400 bucks each). I don't remember why, but we didn't continue with the plan and just forgot about it.

I sure was lucky! I had no idea that it is just a lousy scam run by Nigerians

I am sorry to say this but there seems to be lots of scam by the Nigerians... even in South East Asia.
I never trust anything that has few Nigerians in it. Too many scams. They counterfeit money a lot too.
Here they sell stained US dollars to tourists for a fraction of it's value. Of course - its fake.

It's like my country has been invaded by these Nigerians now and black money and scams have been going up since they come. I am no racist and i know these are done by some Nigerians but these ppl really are damaging the other Nigerians rep.

I feel sorry for all those honest Nigerian businessman out there. Sure though to venture overseas

It's the same thing here in South Africa. Nigerians seem to be involved in every crime and vice from drugs to prostitution to drive-bys and hijackings (ie, if there is a crime, somewhere along the line a Nigerian is involved). And so no one trusts a Nigerian, meaning that the guys who come in with proper qualifications (often things like pharmacysts and lawyers) and good intentions (like getting a proper job and contributing to soceity, making a better life for them and thei families, etc) end up working as plumbers, etc :/

A lot of credit card frauds comes from Nigerians. When somebody from this country is willing to pay by credit card it is 95% chance that is a fraud.

Nigerians sure do have a bad reputation .... back when I was signing up for Ikobo, which I desperately needed as at that time there was no alternative for me, I was researching that company as if I would be making multimillion dollar investment in them, only because I have found out it was founded by Nigerian, and ikobo stands for Nigerian currency.

ikobo .. nearly used it once but after researching more about it, it looks to me that most ppl have found it to be problematic ( others think it's a great big scam too)

I have heard a lot of good things about Ikobo but never used this. There are a lot of financial services that are not 100% certain.
