It looks good. However I am curious whats up with the Christmas trees and the pirate ship?

You just don't see purple used that much anymore... very refreshing to see it. Although I do think your title for this post was a bit graphic... perhaps next time chose a less vulgar word do describe it?

I like it a lot, loving the design at the top with the trees and the sun, although I'm not sure how teh pirate ship fits into it

 

I love it actually I like Dark Purple I used to have many sites with it but now I have none. Are you selling this theme?

I love the randomness of it

 

The concept behind it is intriguing, but the implementation of it hasn't given brilliant results. I suggest tweaking with the color scheme more and switching some of the typography.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. It took me some time to make this because I was just trying to mess around with various techniques, but I will definitely do some tweaking and post it again and see what y'all think.

I guess it's safe to say that it needs a font change...so I'll mess around with that.

The trees and pirate ship were super random and I wasn't really going for something per se. I was just kinda winging it as I went along.

Anyways...I'm definitely going to work on it some more and see what I can come up with.

Here is something I started....then I realized that I don't like it and now I'm not going to finish it.

 

I remember peter pan and captain hook in that design..
It looks great....keep it up!

Not my style, but it is very good.

 

I think the second one has the potential to be really good, but i see why you stopped - if your not vibing with your work then sometimes its best too.

However, with abit of work and patience you could make a great design - you obviously have a skill judging from your first design!

I think maybe its the colours, something just doesnt seem to click with it, if you follow what i mean!!!

 

I really like how the page has different elements to it. you can really take a theme and make the entire page come to life.
