    I'm new to the adsense scene, and I seem to have trouble finding information regarding news sites and the monetizing process of their ads. Google hasn't crawled my site yet, but has anybody encountered any problems with Google finding the appropriate ads? If anybody has any suggestions on placement or anything in general about my site I am all ears.

    For your ad placement, I would change the greybackground to the same light green one that it's behind and I would change the font color to black. This will blend in better with your site.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I've been battling with the colors on that ad and I get such mixed reviews. Because the background is pixelated people tend to either like the green on green or hate it. I will play with the colors again to see which of the two generates a larger response.
