I can only see that single ad in the left column. Probably (based on geo-targetting or otherwise), there aren't enough ads that Google has found for this page.

There are codes for two different ads. :D.

If Google didnt find relevant ads , it would have placed PSAs.

Hmmmm.....I dont know any coding, still I think problem is on Google side -maybe you will start getting the ads in a few hours.

    Wait for a day.

I have tons of pages with multiple ad units where some of the units turn up blank. No PSAs.

No, PSAs will only appear if there are no ads available for any of the ad blocks. Because there's an ad in the first block, subsequent blocks do not show PSAs, so they're empty.

See the AdSense help for details.

Ooops! My mistake. This happens usually when you increase the number of ad units on a page. The problem often, but not always, disappears given a couple days (could be when it's indexed).

    same problem here...

in my sub-domain http://funnystuff.rolista.com some time i see only two ads in left menu but some time 5. is this problem in my side or google?

btw i tell you here that on my other sub-domains every thing is working fine like i can see all ads.

i asked this on another and some one told me this is only because i dont have enough content on my website but i think i have enough :) secondly may be this is problem because it gets content from database.

not sure but your help will count much here too :)

Well, there are two aspects to consider.

First, there's the ad pool itself. Remember that ads get rotated by Google based on how much the advertisers are bidding, how much money is left in their daily advertising budget, how often their ads are being clicked, etc. So it's certainly possible that at a given time there are only 7 ads that get selected for your site, which is why you see 5 ads and then 2 ads.

Second, it's true that if you have more content then Google has more to work with. But it's not so much that your data comes from a database, but that the data is untargeted because it's somewhat random. Your content one day can be very different from the content the next. Because the Mediabot comes at unpredictable intervals, it's kind of a crapshoot as to what content it will actually look at and which ads it will therefore select.
