Is there a length of time before public service ads disappear? I'm photoblogging - but I have a content write up of each blog. It seems some keywords should be found. . .

I've only been indexed by google once as far as I can tell - the site is brand new.

Does it just take a little while?

When I post a new page, ads appear almost immediately. The only time I have ever had psa's appear for any lenght of time is when I had a "stop word". A stop word in the content will prevent real ads from displaying until the word is removed.

There is no absolute, all inclusive list of stop words, though this page may give you a hint on what to look for. http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/adsense-stop-words.htm

Factors google uses may depend on the age/trust google gives your site, when determining whether or not to display psa's.

The words I've encountered that caused psa's are kill, expired. (like in killing germs, and expired medicine) So if you still are having psa's check for any potential questionable words and substitute them.

IF the problem is a stop word, it may take a week or two until mediabot comes back and "clears" the psa's. I usually just rename that new page to bypass the delay once the issue is fixed.
