    Its a fansite for The Sims 2. Based on Typo3 with a custom extension for the downloads area, which is splitted into various categories, where items may be assigned to several categories etc.

    I did choose Typo3 due to its performance and as it is quite easy to create any extensions you would like to, if you are able to do some php programming.

    Thank you, it's truly one of the most integrated websites.

    Armored Core Online’s content management system, forum, chat system, download section and every other feature are integrated and handled by one single MySQL database. Users can access every feature using one single username and login password.

    Anatomy:

    CMS: SubDreamer
    Forums: Invision Power Board 2.17
    Wiki: MediaWiki
    Chat System: Flashchat
    Download System: IPB

    Marketing: we used a set of techniques to get Armored Core ranked on the top 2 search engines: Google and Yaho:confused:ur search engine optimization was done taking into account both Google and Yahoo index algorithms.

    For Google we used a mod-rewrite feature that transforms the forum topics into easier to follow and read links instead of the generic strings of link generated by the stock forum software.

    For Yahoo we worked with already established fan sites and other websites similar in content and place a link on their website, along with relevant content and basic SEM and SEO techniques allowed Armored Core Online to be indexed #1 at one point for the main key word: Armored Core.
