    After doing some research, now come down to two choice

    Dell Latitude D620, Core Duo T2300 (1.66GHz), 14.1" XGA , 512 MB Ram, 40GB HD, 4.5 Pound
    selling $899

    thinkPad R Series R52 Intel Pentium M 750(1.86GHz), 14.1" XGA ,512MB ,60GB
    6.1 pound
    selling $999

    what do you guy think?

    If those are the actual prices (seems cheap), I'd go with the ThinkPad.

    Although I buy Latitudes and have always been satisfied with them. :D

    If I were you I would be looking at a machine with at least one gig of RAM. Don't forget, the latest greatest versions of much software is going to be released next January and it will need more than 512 megs of RAM to run properly.
