Launched NEW Site a few days ago, newbie need advice

I just launched my first ever .com site with adsense, if anybody from the veterans can give me some tips regarding the site in general, especially with my adsense placement and content, I really would appreciate it.

p.s. Is sending e-mails out to my friends inviting them to visit my site against TOS?

 

congrats on your new .com site. with regards to sending emails to your friends, it isn't a violation against TOS, but asking them to click on the ads is a violation against TOS.

looks good maybe some link ads under the header may give you good clicks

Yes, one under the logo would be better instead of the 160*600 one on the left very far down

You should be able to do well with blended ads anywhere toward to upper part of the page. But be sure to make the ads virtually indistinguishable from the content (i.e. font, size, color, etc.)

That and get as much traffic as you can.

I would change the green url text to black in the Adsense ads. It would make the ads look less like ads and more like content.

site looks fine ,don't forget to add "bookmark this site" at the top middle.that will make you easier.

 

Ok, I know it's an old post, but I don't know where else to get good advice. Since the first time I posted, my site has been running (more than a month now) and I've tried getting back links and registering on directories, updating almost on daily basis, but I dont know if any of it is working, cause when I check with my adsense account, there is not much activity...
Is there anything wrong with my site? www.yourfastdata.com

if ı were u delete google search which is located in footer. This can be irritable your visitor. Good luck

 

Hi, Im pretty new to this myself so I know what you mean by "not much activity"
The one thing that has helped me to get most of my traffic is search engines... try to get higher up for you main keywords. And if it is very big competition for these words try some similar words that dont have as much competition. And make sure that the links to your website has your main keywords in their titles!
And all this takes time, just continue to work hard and you will be rewarded, maybe not this month or next but the rewards will come.
