Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Leaderboard, yes or no?

This is my first website and when I originally made my site it was purely from writing in code in HTML (I'm a freshman in college) and looked horrible but I stuck a leaderboard at the top of my site and got a click or two, since then I've just left the leaderboard while trying to figure out a better solution. Would you suggest I remove the leaderboard despite earning some revenue from it? If so, should I add more ads and if not, why? Here's my site: Easy Online Money Making.

As you can see I've recently added in some referrals, I'd also like some feedback on whether or not they are worthwhile or if I should just replace some of them with advertisements.

    Thanks :)

Move the ad to below the pics and get some sort of Header, make a custom pic that reflects your site that catches peoples attention...
The way it is now makes me wanna leave...haha no offense.

Also when and if you move it blend it in, change the font colors for the ads to match your fonts.
    Good Luck

I don't want to be mean, but it needs work. This is all HTML? You aren't using a CMS? It'd be hard to manage, don't you think?

The way the ads are right now, they aren't optimized for good CTR. The leaderboard at the top should be taken off. I'd suggest you try out Wordpress.org and see if maybe that can do the job for you instead of using HTML. You can get really nice templates and with simple editing and have an SEO optimized website with really good optimized AdSense ad spots (wrapped around content with each post, sidebar, etc). I also think you should try making the font standard size.

If you need more info, feel free to PM me or leave me a message on my blog.

No offense taken guys, first try at a website and I don't expect it to look all that great, basically doing it as an experiment. Thanks for the advice so far, I'm looking into starting a blog on a different topic for which I'd use wordpress but for the time being I'm still just trying to figure out what I'm doing with this website. I prefer to do things the long convulated way to learn and then use shortcuts later on.
