Less is More?

I'm curious what some of you might think about having less adsense ads on your each page of your site as opposed to the max (3 per page). I wonder if less is actually better? Has anyone experimented with this? I may give it a try on one
of my sites and see what happens.

If anyone has tested, would love to hear how it went.

Less isn't more in all cases.

I can say that "smart" less is more. :)

    Hope you get the point.

I've had just two ads on several blogs and got excellent results.

It is mostly directly proportional to how much content you have per page. If you have a page that doesn't go beyond the fold of course you wouldn't use a lot, if you have a lot of text, the ads can get lost.
