Here is my site at Digg.com:
    http://digg.com/gadgets/New_fast_proxy_to_unblock_sites_such_as_Myspace_and_Bebo_etc

Everyone digg it then post your own and I will do the same.

    Cheers!

I don't. I think he came from digg to box us all up in a tidy pack. But really, not sure. However, I did learn A LOT about the integrity of Digg and asking for diggs, because a post caught my interest last night. From what I understand, it is not a good idea to promote this way and you will banned from digg.

Maybe you will not get banned, but anyway it's annoying to see many crap bookmarks on those social bookmarking sites. Better find another way to promote... There are plenty of them :)

Social bookmarking sites are very strong and even getting more powerful, so I really doubt other ways to promote may replace them. And no need, indeed, if they are used properly.;)

It is going to be real hard trying to push a proxy site on Digg. You should think of something of real value that you can create. Other wise it will get buried by the digg community once it hits the front page. If you can even get it that far.

Create original and interesting content and you won't have to exchange diggs...they will come naturally ;)

Yeah, I got banned by Digg during that whole fiasco. It was a shame because I'd only learned of the site a few days before getting the big B.

Digg is supposed to be for people who genuinely find something useful and so "digg it".

I have to agree with you completely. Despite the fact that users here might be encouraging Digg, but eventually it's still down to members' own decision not to do so if the article is not worthwhile noticing.

Nonetheless, I believe some articles may be rather helpful and useful, but there aren't sufficient traffic to create awareness. And I feel, maybe through some help here, some small sites can gain recognition to grow. (Basically, that's what DP is about too, helping new webmasters).

But, as I also like to reiterate that the bottom line is, it is down to individual members to decide whether to Digg or not :)
