here is a neat tool that might help you guys get notified about each others submissions.

You just make a list of users whose submissions you want to be notified about and it sends an instant alert to your email.

the design is ugly right now, but it works:
digg express dot com

 

Rather easy to get banned doing this. Plus Digg picks which stories to have on their front page. It's not like you get there by Digging a story a lot.

 

Couldn't have said it better myself. Digg also picks up on Diggs that happen too closely together.

 

Haha, I've also always wondered how average Joe articles end up on the front page. But ya, most likely I smell banned...
