Buying Letters Required from Native Speaker

Letter 1:

You are the head of administration of a large dental setup. The Regional Manager (RM) of Colgate Toothpaste has written to you offering a free camp at your clinics in the coming month. They plan to distribute free packs of tooth pastes to your patients along with surprise prizes for patients based on a random appointment number. You seem to be happy with the idea as it gives your clinic free publicity and creates good will in your patients. You have to write a letter to the RM informing him that you can let them carry out the camp at your clinic on December 14, 2011.

Letter 2:

As the head of Regional Sales GleamerX Lab Instruments, you have received a complaint from one of your prime customers – The Procurement Head of Alpha Hospital. Three weeks ago Alpha Hospital purchased an fully automatic ELISA instrument named CODA from your company for Rs. 3,200,000.00 The instrument is on the expensive side but the benefit it offers is that it is an open code system and would accept any ELISA kits available in the market. Despite this knowledge and your detailed earlier presentations, the Procurement Manager for Alpha Hospital has written very sternly to you that the Abbott IMX is available for far cheaper prices and he wants you to either remove your instrument from the hospital and pay them back the money or bring the price down to the IMX level (around Rs. 2,000,000.00). Abbott’s IMX is cheap to buy but can only use Abbott’s ELISA kits which are three times the price of open kits in the market. Alpha is an extremely important client and you do bot want to lose their business. You have to write to the Procurement manger telling him that you cannot fulfill his demand since the sale has been made and the instrument is in use.
