Some. It's good if you're looking to sell to business owners of course. Not so much your average Joe Consumer.

LinkedIn is great to market to once you get the hang of it, all of the users on there are pretty much business orientated so there is quite a large market with plenty of potential.

Linkedin is a good place for business related products or services. The groups provide a good opportunity to network. If you have articles on your site that help with people questions, you can direct them to your site.

Linked in is a powerful social network allows you to boosting up your business. Linked in is an innovative source of marketing in a way that it is cost effective because it eliminates the need of tons of money and you can reach to a size of potential audience easily by creating a profile over there. Your profile should include well written and descriptive by using keywords, then discuss about your business, make connections with your business related groups or people, ask questions and post articles it may drive traffic towards your site.

LinkedIn is a professional networking site. I never tried, but I think that it would be good for marketing.
