    Hi,
    They didn't required credit card or any other payment details for demo.
    You need to write there stating your demo requirement and configuration and reason if you have so.
    They will allocate the demo and extend from initial 3 days to 7 if they see potential serious customer.
    I act as serious one and able to enjoy 7 day demo ;-)

    All hosting providers are obligated to keep track of all users, so verified billing information is a must, They must authorize a charge - mostly for $1 on the credit card.

    That is not entirely true. I got some free dedicated machines without giving my CC informations.

    Actually if someone is looking for free Windows VPS for 1 month there is giveaway going on here and you can get free 8GB ram Windows vps without giving any payment informations.

    well not all of the hosting companies follow those guidelines however if you get a client that gets involved in an illegal activity and YOU ARE ASKED for information that you can't provide then YMMV
