This is a fairly new site for someone fairly new to making money with adsense. Looking for some pointers on how I might improve CTR, etc.

    Thanks

Yes, I'm pretty sure they do, but wasn't really sure where to put it :)

I was thinking maybe between latest news and hosted by, but not really sure.

Blend your sponsered Ads portion. Blue color makes your Ads stand out and people will be put off and not compelled to click.

http://www.ipbee.com/articles/ on th is page you can place a vertical skyscraper in leftnav.

Change the ad links color and match it to your font colors. You can also use the same fonts - I believe you are using Verdana on your site.
