Live Comps - Why do kids tv shows put parents through it?

    It's 8.39am on a Sunday morning and the little terrors are up and watching their favourite TV program What Now - aimed at the pre-teen market. They have phone in comps and online comps for the kids to enter.

    Now the phone in competition is fine, small people can sit on the sofa with the phone and hit that line busy tone all they like.

    But the computers are at the other end of the house so I end up sitting online hitting F5 waiting for the webhost to stop being totally overloaded and let me in.

    They need to change hosts, increase their plan or something!

    Anyone else suffer this?

    At first I had no idea what you were talking about. I couldn't stop thinking that your toilets spin the other way when you flush them though.

    Then I kept thinking about small people. Wee little small people. I was thinking about legitamet small people though not kids.

    You should move your pc into the living room.

    That show is filmed in a city called ChristChurch? Man I can just imagine that with a city name like that gum chewing by anyone but small people probably is frowned upon.

    Yeah it sucks when you're trying to do something on a site and the site is down.

    The only legitimate small person I know has the coolest phone and would enter using his WAP connection, I guess.

    As for Christchurch, they have total carrot breath down there and if that's too colloquial I'm not explaining it.
