    well .. u should read some tutorials or ebooks .. there are lot of them, spend lot of time working on photoshop/illustrator, playing with diffrent tools and option in those programs to get familiar with it :) and ofcource creativity is most important thing :)

    Read Web 2.0 logo creating photoshop tutorials..
    pixel2life.com is one of them.

    but you have to practice a lot to create such professional logos.

    I second that. Web 2.0 is pretty easy to learn for beginners and they look nice too! After that you can work on more advanced tutorials.. check out good-tutorials.com

    If you want to learn logo's m8, learn how to use illustor not photoshop, illustor is much better for making logo's espcialy vector logo's witch sell better. Also good sites could be Good-tutorials or pixel2life

    once you learn how to use it, then basically u just have to be creative, i participate in contests, and i enter a few, havnt won much, but the winners logos, i can probably create myself, its just having the idea in the first place, remember simplicity is good
