    I commuted from Surbiton to Liverpool Street for 3 months, never got to enjoy a strike but yeah, seems spot on.

    Surbiton in rush hour is a killer :eek: seriously espeically when they say this train consists of 4 coaches :mad:

    That and the waterloo and city line at 8.30 :p

    I went on the London Underground for the first time a few weeks ago. Seems similar to the Tokyo system but poorly planned and way out of date... if I were in charge and had a big enough budget, I would fill it in and start again.

    It has character I suppose, but would hate to rely on the thing. I only used it twice, first time they diverted to another station, second time an entire line was out of opperation due to power problems... they'd never get away with that on the Metro up here.
