Are you familiar with long tail keywords? No.. well let me educate you a little bit.

What Are Long Tail Keywords

“The long tail keyword is basically an expansion of a core, generic, high volume keyword phrase to include numerous combinations and permutations of the keywords and their associated or relevant phrases.”


Basically these are keywords that are not likely to receive a high number of search results on there own but when grouped together can increase your search results and traffic received via search engines.

Finding keywords to use in your articles and on your site is relatively easy thanks to an abundance of programs that are available. I would suggest you use Googles Keyword Tool or even WordTracker.

You will want to use the long tail keywords in your headlines and the body of your blog to bring people who search for your topic to your blog.

So next time your about to write a new post for your blog.. do some research and find out what people are searching for then try and optimize your article with long tail keywords to try and improve the results you get in search engines.

Great post man! I totally agree. Using a some seo tool like kwd or google aw or even wordtracker to find out which long tales are searched in SE and implementing it in <h1></h1> or title will help a lot.

Using <h></h> on first line of the post and on the last line will help a lot too!

Help crowlers determine your niche and helps your kw density!
