    If you want to develop your site you may want to include the ad inside the content rather than above it. By placing it there you are trying to force readers to click off before actually absorbing what your site is about. This won't help site development nor your link building strategy.

    My motto: A 20% click through rate on 10 people makes less money than a 10% click through rate on a 100!
