Looking for a blog/news system

    Hello,

    Well this is what I am looking for:

    -blog/news/articles script
    -Free
    -SEO friendly
    -CSS templated
    -Must be integrated with existing site

    I need just the blog portion to put in the index of my site. It has to be integratable. I dont need anything else just the blog system.

    I have been using cutephp but am thinking there has to be better out there...any ideas?

    I love my blog SW i use since years ... a modified version of the early easymoblog - see my sig link
    the blog category "Internet" has many articles on how to use/optimize it as well as from where to download

    it is made specially for news - posts can be made by eMail from mobile phones, regular eMails or by direct posting with or without pics

    another SW suitable for news with pics would be gallery2
    i use both

    both are SEO friendly
    have validated RSS 2.0 feeds
    have CSS templates
    are fully adsense optimized
    and are easy to use for articles WITH photos - the blog also without pics

    Did you look at Wordpress? It's easy to install and the template is really flexible. It should be not problem to give it the same look as your site.

    One of the nice things about wordpress is the ability to easily have a static home page with the blog in a different directory. You should check it out.

    Joomla! is the answer, not only for 'news and blog' (use bloggx for amazingly easy to update content) but for most of the questions uve never thought of yet...

    if you are going to make a small site , i suggest you to use wordpress but if you want to make big and great site, i suggest you to use Joomla. you must ask this question to yourself;)
