Looking for a solution to capture a signature

    Hi there

    Firstly, apologies if I have posted this in the wrong area.

    I am a software developer using Omnis 7 but I pretty much a novice on web issues.

    We have a web front end to our SQL server database and we are looking for a solution that we can bolt on to our existing web service.

    What we are looking for is a way to capture a signature from a customer on a Windows CE PDA and save this signature as a bitmap file onto the server. We already have the code in place to import and translate the bitmap to save on the SQL server so all we need is the ability to save the bitmap.

    We have looked at various products available on the net. Unfortunately these are either so expensive that our users wouldn’t pay for it or supplied by companies that don’t seem to be in business any more.

    I had a look at iNetSignature. The demo version does exactly what we want but when we tried to purchase it the company in Hong Kong isn’t there any more.
    I also looked at Real Web Signature (www.realsignature.com) but they don’t reply to emails and there are no other contact details so I feel it’s a waste of time carrying on down this route

    Does anyone know of any other solutions to this problem

    Just to summarise, we want to capture a signature on a Windows CE PDA and save the data as a bitmap on the webserver.

    Any help is greatly appreciated
