Looking for Customer Service/Contact Centers

    Hi everyone,
    I am interested in hiring a customer service/contact center to handle online chat on my website.
    I am searching hi and low and cannot figure out where new ecommerce owners are finding contact center agents for an affordable price.
    The contact centers I see online charge per minute, per hour, or the price increases after a certain number of chats, and they charge EXORBITANT fees! This is NOT an affordable option for a new ecommerce owner.
    Any ideas on where to find contact center agents affordably? And are there any that charge a flat fee per month? Any that have domain expertise?
    Please help!

    If you're new then your requirements are probably low. Can you do it yourself and use a virtual assistant in a different timezone for when you need downtime/sleep etc?

    Hello Sarahk,
    Thank you for taking the time to offer suggestions.
    I have thought about starting off doing customer service myself, but questioned if I would be able to handle all of the inquiries to satisfy my customers. Especially considering that my products are of a technical nature and some questions may require domain expertise.
    I'm sure this uncertainty is something many new ecommerce business owners experience, along with simply not knowing every aspect of your product and what your call/chat volume will be in the beginning.
    I will definitely give this further consideration. I am thankful for your help and grateful for this forum.
