Looking for Ghost and haunted houses

I don't believe in God or ghosts but there is no real way to prove one way or another, short of dying. I have decided to go on a ghost hunting trip around the world to see by my own eye if there is any merit to the stories.
I have found a lot of information about ghosts and haunted houses but there is no real way to know which are credible and that is the reason I am posting here.
If any of you lives near a haunted house that you believe is true please PM me or post here. Where in the world doesn't matter. I am specially interested in haunted places that is possible for me to stay for a night or couple of nights.

You're crazy, man! I'd pee my pants if I saw a ghost... heck, I had to sleep with the lights on after watching the Blair Witch Project movie

 

There are many stories of haunted houses etc.. in Indiana where I grew up. One is in Hamer Cemetery outside Mitchell, Indiana. But, you can find several on the internet by typing in haunted houses. If you see a ghost, I hope you let us know!

As I see it there is nothing to be scared, if there is no ghost then nothing will happen and if there is a ghost, what ever happens you life will continue after death.

Thanks for all the links, I have already researched this subject but it is very hard to decide from information on Internet what is real and what is fantasy. I am planning to travel and try to find an answer for a period of 6 month to 1 year but since these places are all over the world, it takes time and I don't want to travel to some stupid place in middle of nowhere just for a folk tale. That is the reason that I am looking for information from people who live close by to one of these places and can offer a first hand account.
I do not want just to visit these places, I need to have a first hand experience in coming in contact with what ever is in that place in order to prove to myself one way or other if the ghosts exist.

 

Bit off topic, but I have seen advertisements for some kind of ghost video, but they warn you that it is disturbing stuff, has anyone seen it?

I've been always confused, if ghosts can pass through walls, how come they don't fall through floors? Special Ghost Shoes?

Yes I am serious. Like I mentioned before I don't believe in God, ghosts or after life but it is not something that can be proved by logic one way or another. I am going to have an open mind about this question and really search for any kind of evidence that there is some kind of after life.
I think this is an important subject and question for anyone, don't you?
The way I see it, in the worst case I have traveled for about year around the world without finding anything which by itself is not that bad.

When someone is death then it means what it says - death, and there is no life until to the resurrection of the death, which will happen to all at once.

Spirituell obsessions lead to believe that there are ghosts and for these kind of people ghosts really exist and they are under bondage.

You may find a lot about this in catholic libraries, where most of the clergies believe in ghosts.
