Looking for hosting provider - any pointers

I am actively looking to move two sites to new host, any suggestions are welcome. I am trying out 3ix, but they don't seem to let override the .htaccess file.

I already have godaddys account, but looking for cheaper option than that

Few things I must have

1. Be able to override the .htaccess file (3ix hasn't replied on this issue )
2. Should be cheaper than 4.00$ a month
3. Monthly billing is preferred.

 

Well it depends how much do you need,I can give you free hosting but you are required to make some points (MB $) which is virutal money and for 15 MB $ you can buy 25MB webspace,0.5 GB of Bandwith and for 25 MB $ you can buy 50MB and 1GB of Bandwith,every of that package have php support,mysql,shockwave,cPanel 10,Fantastico and yes you have .htaccess file,but that is not all you can upgrade your account for more mysql,webspace,bandwith and etc,and also we have paid plans so you can check it at http://monoblue.org/hosting.php so you can pm for more informations or fill down the contact form on the webpage

Thanks for your offer. I just signed up for reseller account with 3GB space, few gigs of b/w (dont remember the numbers)....

this turns out to be perfect for me as I don't have to pay 4$ per site to godaddy and I can sell hosting package on my own

so if anyone wants any custom hosting package, I can do it.

By the way what you mean by MB$?

Like I said virtual money,it is the curency on our forum,and you are getting 1MB$ by post,vote,topic...also there sometimes is a quiz,for example free domain or whatever... wel i think you get it

yes I agree with agi32,nothing is unlimited,it is machine and it have some capacity,but when you say unlimited you don't mean like realy unlimited which word means,for example unlimited MYSQL,that means it have a lot and lot,and you will never nead more...

 

thanks people. I just got a reseller plan for ~10$/pm. 3GB disk space, 30GB bandwidth, unlimited domains, subdomains etc.

If anyone wants some tailormade hosting, I can provide it for small cost I am reseller now all of a sudden...he he
