    Well I recently started up a MySpace site. :\ another one....

    Mine isn't out of the box though... Tons of hours of programming etc....

    Well currently I'm using 3 125x125 text ad blocks towards the top of the page. I know it's soon to tell how they will perform, but since I already have three I can't place anymore on the page.

    I'm looking for guidance on what formats and placement I should use.

    I didn't see the 3 125x125 text ad block at the top of the page when I first looked as my eye went straight to the post title - suggest you integrate the adsense text ads into the page content so the reader is forced to look at them as they read the article.

    Also you have an opportunity to integrate some adlink units into the vertical or the horigontal menu sections.

    According to AdsenseGold and as proven by my websites, the following works best:

    google_ad_width = 336;
    google_ad_height = 280;
    google_ad_format = "336x280_as";
    google_ad_type = "text";
    google_ad_channel ="";
    google_color_border = "FFFFFF";
    google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
    google_color_link = "000080";
    google_color_url = "999999";
    google_color_text = "000000";

    Observe the colors being used (dark blue and pale green).

    There are many high-priced clicks for topics related to mortgages, antiques, debt consolidation, etc.
