    Hi,
I am looking for free software that will tell me what has been updated on a site after my last date or visit.

There are a ton of paid options I already know but as always nothing neats free :)

you can try atomic watch and stuff like that but i think that the soft. you need is called Update Patrol. This tool notifies you every time a content's been updated. When you visit the site, the new or altered content will be highlighted.

Quite a few CMS have plugins/modules that do this. So depending on what you are running you could find a script that already fits, or hack one and not spend loads of time on the issue.

But it really depends on what type of content changes you are talking about..?
