Low CTR on my new site

    Hi,

    I have a low ctr on my new site.

    See Below my site and page(s):

    It's a dutch travelling site. I'm receiving since a couple of days around 30-50 visitors a day from google and 20-30 a day from linkpartners.

    My CTR is only 2-4% so thats very low and i don't know whats wrong because i thought my google ads are well fitted with my layout ?

    Any idea'?

    2-4% is pretty good for most sites....try to build more traffic.

    I agree I would be happy with that.

    I would also try placing images with a border near your ads. This is a good trick I have used myself and seen other recommend it here.

    Also, try to place all ads above the fold so they do not have to scroll down to see your ads.

    That is not quite true for niche sites. At niche sites for me under 10% is low.

    I would move the banner higher up in the middle column, and maybe get rid of the text links and add a 125x125 botx at the top of the left column.

    Just my 0.02 euros... ;)

    picouli on the left column the text links is my menu for that vacation country i cannot remove that :)

    I didn't say to remove it, just put a button above it - or one right above "Zoeken"
