Folks... any advise out there why I'm getting such a low CTR for http://www.ePassportPhoto.com?

    Cheers,
    Tom

Dude I've got half of 1% and since I joined DP still never got the time to ask that question. Spend some hours reading the forums not 10 seconds waiting for a miracle answer..

    - remove "advertise on this site"
    - put the banner on top
    - add more ads (large rectangle preferrably)

    - your ads are not relevant with your site

I edited my adSense advertise-on-this-website setting but to no avail... it still shows up...
Should I really move the adSense banner to the top even if visitors can see the bottom of my site (and adsense ads)?

try a 336x280 ad with some random photos (four images 50x50 is ok) on the left. This will increase your CTR for sure.

thanks again - appreciate your comments!
I think I gathered the adSense box idea (take a look at http://www.ePassportPhoto.com/default-box.aspx) but where should I place the suggested 4 images you mentioned?

Image upload sites, in general, don't get a lot of clicks. That's why you see the image storage sites relying mainly on CPM banners. Who wants to click text ads? If I went to your site, I went there to load my pictures and whatnot. I'm not going there looking for something else to click on. I know what you're offering, and I know what I'm doing there. Ad placement optimization will hardly matter in your case. I would put aside the Adsense and apply for a CPM network and make money off the impressions.

Does removing "advertise on this site" (I mean by disabling something on adsense account) really help?

Tribal Fusion if you can get in. Valueclick (formerly Fastclick) is your next best bet. Beyond that, you're looking at very lower tiered CPM networks (low rates, low fill rates, low payments, etc.) What kind of numbers are you doing?
