Has anyone tried M$ 'Codenamed Acrylic' yet?
    http://www.microsoft.com/products/expression/

Of course, it won't be called "Expression", will it? What's the point of a 'codename' and then naming the directory? I digress.

It's a chunky download of 77Mb and a hefty 500Mb HD requirement. I installed it last night and gave it a quick whirl.

I found it to have some impressive features and some really crap useability all rolled into one. You need the manual dexterity and hand steadiness of a surgeon just to change some settings. Microscopic sized sliders and that sort of thing.

I've not seen a good word mentioned about it - what I have seen is people complaining the B3ta version shouldn't have got out of Alpha. Its a long way to go before it can challenge Photoshop.

    I'm not all that impressed...

It's certianly better than "Paint", but still nothing compared to PS CS2

CS2 is really really really good if you guys haven't played with it yet. :)
