does anyone know him, aside from him being a jewish?
    http://www.mnight.com/

he created films like The Village, Signs. Unbreakable, etc. i saw a documentary about him & i really find him creepy LOL i dunno, he and his films are just to mysterious. i even saw in that documentary he said "in my films i dont want you to feel safe" ......eekk what the hell is he thinking? someone even said he has connection on the "other side". and the lines "life is boring without secrets, dont you think" has made it really controversial. i dunno what to think really but im so interested on everything about him. he's such a deep person.

what do you think of him?

Watched all of these, didn't care much for The Village. One of those movies that are totally depressing when you see it and did not live up anywhere near the trailers.

yes i agree to that. though i liked the movie & i find it very intellectual. i dunno, maybe it's just because of how twas made, and the location and all the twist. everything was unpredictable IMO.

I liked the actual story behind it, but didn't like how they portrayed it, some areas I felt were realy weak. Plus I watched it expecting one thing and I believe not even 1/4 way into it figured out it was total bs 'the town and monsters' after that it went down hill.

I hope you're not talking about that fake piece of crap Sci-fi thing. I don't find him deep or even entertaining. I liked unbreakable.

To me Signs was crap and the Village was even worse. All of the mysterious stuff is a bunch of marketing fluff.

On the other note I'm going to tell the "other side" you're very guillable.;)

Are you talking about when he directed the cinematic masterpiece Maximum Overdrive?

Maximum Overdrive? haha yeah i remember watching that, and that i can say it's really crap! such a waste of time.

well, i knew that mysterious sci-fi blah blah was just fake. it's very obvious.
but it's still trapped in my mind, i kept on thinking about that shitty film. well i guess, it caught the hell outta me. :D
