making sure ad's show..?

I'm messing around with ad placement on www.arcaderun.com, and i notice when playing some games no ads appear probably because the lack of keywords.. but it looks dumb when no ads appear next to the images, so does anyone have any ideas please?

You can go into Adsense Setup in your account and select collapsible ads. That way if there are no keywords you won't see a large empty space in place of the ad.

 

Hm yeah, well the problem is that one ad unit will always show ad's then the one next to it won't so i don't really think the collapsible ad unit will work..

 

Why won't it work? Did you even try it? The one that always shows ads will continue to show ads. But the one that isn't being served ads will collapse and you won't see a large space there where that ad should be.

 

I just imagined it would look wierd, i havent tried it yet no, but i will give it a shot

 

It works. If they begin to serve ads to that one the ad will show. The option is there for people who don't want the space screwing up their page layout. If they don't show ads at all it is usually due to stop words being in your content.

 

ah ok, what do you mean by stop words?
