    Hey i just installed this module, and wanted to know if i have to change my htaccess.txt to .htaccess for it to start working??

    do i have to enable anything else/

    Install the module, enable and set-up the component how you'd like it to work. Enable SEF URLs in the geneneral site options in the admin, and change the ht access file as you said above. It should work fine.

    As long as you've enabled the component it'll work fine. The standard options that are set when it's first installed are fine, you shouldn't really need to tweak these unless you want to.

    when i goto global configuration and allow SEO links, and click on yes,

    it screws my whole joomla page with joomla array errors everywhere on the page.

    I dont know why.. i changed the htaccess.txt to .htaccess

    is there another htaccess file or is it just in the main directory?

    and waht does apache only mean? how do i know if i have apache?

    Could be possible you don't have mod_rewrite enabled on the server.

    open up the text file, and save it as .htaccess and then upload it to where you have the script installed.
