Mambo with SEO Urls?

Does anybody have a working mambo site that has search engine friendly url's?

I'm contemplating it for a new site I'm building, but I don't want the standard url's that are seo unfriendly.

Please let me know your experiences :)

Not sure if you would consider using Joomla instead of Mambo (I believe they're pretty similar, but I could be wrong). There's a Joomla component add-on called "openSEF" which when used in conjuction with Joomla's built-in SEF feature will give you url's with /section_name/page_name.html .

I'm currently using it on one of my sites (warcraft-maps.com if you want to take a look), and it's been working pretty well. It doesn't make the search button url-friendly, and the urls in the links section look goofy, but the rest of the urls work perfectly.

There might be a mambo component in existance too, and I think some components work with *both* mambo and joomla (although I don't know about openSEF in particular.

    OpenSEF is available at open-sef.org
