Man, Frustrating!

I have set up adsense through my forums to make them pretty stand out-ish and inviting for users to click.

I am getting many page impressions just not alot of clicks. Google still counts my adsense earnings as $0 for the past two days as soon as I set it up. I am not sure what I can do to get users to click I just need some helpful advice.


wiipoint.net is my site, and I am not sure why google has yet put a cent in my earnings. I have high impressions, just low click rates.

Any help?

 

I've been doing quite well with link units after the first post lately.....

Does mybb have any form of SEF plugins to turn the URL's into static html or php pages with text in them? That will increase the relevancy of your ads. If the ads aren't relevant the users won't click them.

Obviously since you run a gaming forum have you tried other things like Amazon or Chitika, they will allow yo to do much more product based targeting on ads which possibly imght be what your readers might prefer?

I think its a matter of getting more users. I have been open for about 7 days and getting fairly good page impressions, I just cant seem to get people to click.

I use to run a forum..there not easy to make money with adsense (thats what i found anyway).

my advice is to forget about adsense and concentrate on getting new members to sign-up and have a active community, then your adsense will grow accordingly.
