    1. Call or send email to customer care (billing)ask them to shift your billing to prepaid deposit plan...then in the credit link tab becomes none ...if you use credit card
    2. if u use paypal ...login into ur paypal account, profile, paylist, select ysm and click cancel...done...they wont charge no more in future..
.until you intiate payment in both modes....got it...

I have a credit card as my primary card, which I cancelled months back.

When Yahoo try to charge me they can't as that card no longer exists, so I just get an email telling me they tried to take money out of my bank but couldn't.

However I do have a card that is valid, so I just use that when manually wishing to put more money into my account.

You can email them to get them to make the option available. They don't make it available at first because many people forget to stop a campaign or turn it off and they hit your card for a non-refundable $30 minimum again. I have switched my account over to prepaid because I put in 500-1000 at a time which i don't want my account being hit that much each time i run out without some sort of confirmation. I have spent a few thousand with them so maybe they were more responsive to my email than others who don't spend as much so keep that in mind to and just keep on them until they change it.
