    - I wonder what tricks that we can use to market the site.
    - how do we profit from running a Soc Net site? Adsense,...

    Most social networking websites will be making a profit from adverts. Yours will have to be very unique as just making another Facebook clone won't get people signing up.

    The trick is, be unique and interesting in the same time.

    Think of it this way: "There are already so many social networking sites out there, so why should they sign up as a member in your site?"

    You can earn money from advertisements and anything that your members are going to pay you.. You might want to use paid subscription model if your social network site is really worth the investment.

    Since i built up your site, I would suggest, as everyone says make your site unique Make your visitors realize why they should join your site and not others. Since it's best on Asia i am sure you will get tons of users, once you get some uniqe stuff added or articles posted. Add a forum as well, and perform social bookmarking by submitting articles to dig.
    And as for the earnings, Most earnings are from advertisements, However you can also allow premium memberships or start application services.
