May a change of my color scheme result in a higher CTR?

I wonder whether a change from the dark/gray-blue color scheme to a white and red scheme would result in a higher CTR. I'm talking about the site Car Sound Systems.

What would you think? Imagine a white background all over the page and then a red menu bar as well as red links and a red "logo".

Let me know if such kind of optimization is advised for such a site or if I should skip the thought ;) Thanks

Trial and error is key. Only way to find out. Nothing is constant and a law when it comes to users and websites.

Get a customized header for one.
White/red sounds like a killer combination to me.
I would center those three tables on the site.
Then get rid of the adsense block to the left at top and go for either a text link running under the first block, or a good square ad under it.

so the scheme should remain right? Somehow I can't throw the thought of changing the background at least. it kinda looks awfully after seeing it several times over the past few weeks.

    Thanks for your advice!!
