One of my main sites was crucified.....It went like sleeping bags to plentydown overall including the allins and I mentioned this before.

As at yesterday I noticed that the allins were rising and were "about" 60ish

As at today the

allinurl is up to 24
allintitle still 64
allintext still 92
allinanchor still 46


and the site fell back to 272 from 160 something[ initial drop to 750ish]!!!

So we wait to see what happens next .. but here certainly the allins a leading what is happening.

 

These are all rediculous examples, but there certainly seems to be no obvious commonality to the sites that have been effected, that dosn't mean there isn't one.

We have no clue...Like to pose the question...but I haven't taken the time to look into my pet theory about the relevancy of links.

Just seeing what Foxy identified speaks to the crazy non-pattern of effects. In Foxy's case allins lead serps. Right now sleeping bags is upside down from its pattern for virtually its entire life with allins out of site and serps returning to a more "normal/expected" position.

 

My adsense stats don't bear it out, but this morning I've done more business than I did all day yesterday. That's so weird, especially on a friday. I'm seeing more google references in the sales, but I can't see how any rankings have changed at all.

The true value of this experiement has been in the journey and not necessarily the results.

Reading this thread will give you a basic understanding of what it is like trying to keep up with Google. You'll come to understand new meanings of the words "patience" and "perseverance".

I don't know about other but i am quite interested to read this thread entirely on Sunday.

 

Why Sunday? Google's favorite day of the week is thursday. Seems like they always make (at least start) changes on that day.

That's an interesting "rollback" in the results to Jagger1. I don't see it though. I almost feel like I am seeing a very slow re-inclusion of "anchor text" back into the rankings. I'm seeing very very slow, but steady climbs on phrases that had dropped.

Here is the phrase I monitor. I consider it the bellweather (sp?) for how well google is doing. "4th of july decorations" - very weird term for someone to type in and not competitive at all. I ranked #1 for that term FOREVER (since the page has been alive, about a year now).

inanchor shows 90 other sites competing for the phrase. I'm #5 for inanchor. I currently rank #15. At the beginning of Jagger, I dropped to #28. I wish I had my historical count for inanchor

I continue to believe too... LOL
