Am I the only one who is fed up with these razers? I have MACH3 TURBO and I swear I have to replace the blades once a week! They aren't cheap either. What do you use and why?

I used to the same until I realized that I was just wasting my money, now I just use any disposable razor I find, I think they even last more than those match ones :D

Buy the one used by those old-timers barber .. the one that looks like a knife. They're the best for close shave ..but err..you can easily die from it too.

LOL I'd rather pay extra for razers then risk performing surgery on myself while shaving.

I was using the old mach 3 till they stopped supplying the blades, so I've swtiched to a cheaper one and it sucks, i can't clean the blades properly, whereas with the mach 3 i could rinse it under the tap :(

I liked my Mach 3 *sobs*

Remington or Norelco electric. Both that I've used have been very close shaves. Only have to replace the blades every 6 months or so.

I also have a backup Mach 3 for when the battery is low because I forgot to charge my electric when the time came. I like it also, but takes a lot longer (maybe because I almost never use it).

I have a Phillips cordless, rechargable, swivel head, can-be-used-under-the-shower killer machine with a clock built in (limited edition). It rocks.

Mach3 for me, it's the one I found that creates the least blood loss.

HAHA!! I rarely cut myself (knock on wood) but I am getting sick of MACH3 because it dulls fast.

I remember getting a sample in the mail for "SHICK" or something like that. Well, that thing was so cheap, the head broke off while I am shaving! Thats dangerous!

Lol, it took me a while to get used to it, I had so many pieces of toiletpaper stuck to my face the first week or so :D I mean, 1st blade nicks, 2nd page catches that nick, 3rd blade tears my flesh open, leaving a gaping wound with my life-fluid spraying around the room (well, not that bad, but you get the idea :p )

Once a week? Hell, sometimes I use two razor blades for one shave! Unfortunately I get a 5:00 shadow by noon!

I alternate between Mach-3 and Sensor Excel blades.

right now - sensor 3 disposable. I like the pivoting head - and it seems to last a while.

Agreed, PlanetAndrea... i'm really not crazy about girl razors. The guards may be nice on knees and ankles and shins etc.... but they're too bulky for a guy's face and the guards just don't cut it for me.
